Nigel Barker
A London native, Nigel Barker began his career modeling in such fashion hotspots as London, Milan and Paris until he opened his own photo studio in New York in 1996. He is best known as a judge for Tyra Banks' reality show America's Next Top Model.
Nigel began his modeling career when his mother, a former Miss Sri Lanka, entered him in a televised model search. From modeling he opened his own studio and went on to become an internationally renowned photographer.
Fame and fashion led Nigel to use his lens, and star power, to increase awareness for his favorite humanitarian causes. While working on International versions of the Next Top Model franchise, Nigel finds time to speak on animal rights and in 2010 he opened a photography exhibit on the recent crisis in Haiti. The Do Something organization honored his work in Haiti with the Do Something with Style Award nomination.
