Classroom Management in 1:1 and BYOD Classrooms (Exp: Aug 31, 2018)

 

In this online learning module, we will look at strategies for effectively managing a 1:1/BYOD environment. There are many challenges that arise when adding technology to a classroom. This module is designed to help you prepare for those challenges and find success with your students both academically and behaviorally. We'll discuss strategies you can use from the moment they enter your classroom to the time they leave, and everything in between. We'll also discuss ways you can help protect your district's, or your student's investment in the devices. 

 

By the end of this learning module, the learner will be able to:

 

• Effectively setup a classroom to support a 1:1 environment

• Create effective lessons utilizing technology while managing student behavior

• Implement strategies to help protect and care for devices in the classroom

• Utilize Web tools for effective instruction with technology while minimizing off-task behavior
