Millions of college students struggle with food insecurity. The GOA (Government Accountability Office) reviewed 31 major studies on food insecurity among college students and concluded that over a third of our nation’s college students don’t have enough to eat.  Amarillo College is recognized as a leader in Texas in establishing food pantries - offering free food, toiletries, and assistance to hungry college students.
