About this Course

With so many online resources and tools available, it can be very difficult to effectively filter and approve these as an administrator. What tools or resources are worth the money from your budget? Which are going to be most effective in improving instruction and student learning? How do you know what these resources provide? In this series we will look at strategies you can use to help effectively evaluate these resources and tools. We'll create checklists for you to use when teachers request these items to be purchased. We'll also look at the power of a Leadership Team approach to have discussions and brainstorming sessions to ensure you are making an informed decision.

By the end of this learning module, the learner will be able to:

• Develop a checklist of strategies for evaluating online resources
• Implement strategies and resources for evaluating resources for Special Education
• Apply a set of strategies and approaches for approving online resource purchases in your building

• Describe how critical thinking helps determine whether a web resource is credible or not
