Module 1

Guided Pathways is an interesting term. It is used to denote any number of initiatives from helping students to fill out FAFSA’s to prescribing a sequence of courses. In this module, Rex Peebles discusses how institutions have done a lot of work under the guise of “guided pathways”. In addition to helping students, further progress will need to take unprecedented levels of collaboration among institutions. Individual institutions have come a long way, but we can take students much further down a pathway if we are willing to give up some institutional autonomy. How do we accomplish that?
