TED-Ed is a site that allows you to create a full lesson around any video on YouTube™. Now you can take any of the millions of educational videos on YouTube, including your own, and create a lesson with assessment questions, discussion forums, timecode hints, and more. Multiple choice questions are graded automatically and student responses are stored for your access any time. This online learning module will take you from creating an account to instructional tips that will help you maximize your use of this powerful tool! 

 

By the end of this learning module, the learner will be able to:

 

• Create a lesson in TED-Ed around any video on YouTube

• Customize an existing lesson in TED-Ed

• Proficiently use all of the TED-Ed tools

• Implement this lesson in your instruction

• Plan appropriate instructional activities and select instructional materials that promote each of the eight intelligences

• Describe at least three attributes of individuals who are talented in each of the eight intelligences

• Explain existentialism and share at least three examples of questions that existentialists might pose
