About this Course

The Instructional Technology Council (ITC) has gathered data concerning online programs at community colleges for the past fourteen years.  Based on that longitudinal data - and including the tracking of various related national trends and developments - it is possible to speculate and even pontificate on the future of Distance Learning and Education in the 21st Century.  The next ten years promise to be very disruptive in higher education, and Distance Learning will play an important role in the future of learning, completion and workforce development.
